Ngurang Sisters Meena and Reena from Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh are the entrepreneurs and setting an example of women's empowerment in the state. In 2014, they together have started Ngurang Learning Institute in memory of their late father, it is a non-profit foundation, working towards creating a better world for the tribal women of Arunachal Pradesh. leading by example in a society that labels women as the weaker sex. NIL has helped over a thousand people to read, write and live dignified lives with the help of various skill development training programmes.
